$ASHEM — Terms of Use, Safety Guide & Risk Disclaimer
Version 1.0 — Last updated 14 Aug 2026. Reviewed by outside legal counsel prior to publication. Given the nature of the product (a Solana Token-2022 memecoin, no company issuing securities, no promised returns, no jurisdiction-specific offering), counsel confirmed that further regulatory deep-dive was not warranted at this stage. This document is not a substitute for a user's own legal or financial advice, and it will be revisited if applicable regulations change materially.
Scope: applies to ashem.xyz, the $ASHEM dApp (ashem-demo.vercel.app), and the official $ASHEM Discord server (discord.gg/x2EXHsztxp) — collectively, "the Site(s)."
1. What $ASHEM is (and is not)
$ASHEM is a Solana Token-2022 project built around one idea: every claim we make about the token's mechanics should be independently verifiable on-chain, rather than something you have to trust us on.
$ASHEM is not:
- An investment product, security, or financial instrument offered by a company.
- A promise of profit, return, or price performance of any kind.
- A project with a roadmap of features, utility, or partnerships to be delivered.
- Managed by a legal entity that owes you a fiduciary duty.
Nothing on the Site(s) should be read as a promise about the future value, liquidity, or utility of $ASHEM.
2. Risk Disclaimer
This is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing on the Site(s), in the Discord server, on X, or anywhere else the project publishes content constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold $ASHEM or any other asset.
Cryptocurrencies and memecoins are extremely high-risk instruments. Specific to $ASHEM and tokens like it:
- You can lose all of the money you put in. Token value can go to zero. There is no guarantee of liquidity — you may not be able to sell your tokens at any price, or at all.
- Supply is deflationary by design, which is a mechanic, not a promise of price appreciation. A shrinking supply does not guarantee a rising price; demand can fall faster than supply.
- On-chain mechanics reduce specific risks (like mint-authority abuse or freeze-authority abuse) — they do not eliminate all risk. Market risk, liquidity risk, smart-contract-ecosystem risk (Token-2022 itself, Solana network risk), and general crypto-market risk all still apply in full.
- Regulatory status is uncertain and varies by jurisdiction. Laws around tokens like $ASHEM are evolving and differ by country/state. It is your responsibility to determine whether interacting with $ASHEM is legal where you live. $ASHEM does not restrict access by jurisdiction and does not represent that it is compliant with the laws of any specific country or region.
- No one associated with $ASHEM is registered as a financial advisor, broker-dealer, or investment adviser in any jurisdiction. Nothing here should be treated as advice from a licensed professional.
Recommendations to reduce risk (not a guarantee against loss)
- Never commit more than you are fully prepared to lose.
- Verify every on-chain claim yourself before acting — mint authority, freeze authority, fee authority, and supply are all independently checkable on Solscan; links are provided in
/verificar-mint,/contrato, and#onchain-verification. - Confirm you are using the official mint address and official links (
/linksin Discord, or the pinned links in#announcements) before connecting a wallet or interacting with any contract. - Never approve a token/wallet permission you do not understand. When in doubt, don't sign.
- Assume unsolicited DMs offering "support," "verification," or "giveaways" are scams (see Section 3).
3. Safety Guide — how we will (and will never) contact you
- The $ASHEM team will never DM you first. If you receive an unsolicited direct message from someone claiming to be $ASHEM staff, support, or a moderator, it is not us.
- We will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet password — for any reason, including "verification," "support," or "unlocking a reward." No legitimate request ever requires this. Anyone who asks is a scammer.
- There is no staking, no whitelist, and no "connect your wallet here" flow outside the official dApp at
ashem-demo.vercel.app(mirrored viaashem.xyz). - If you believe someone is impersonating the project or attempting to phish you, report it immediately: use
/reportar-scamin Discord (opens a private thread visible only to you and staff) or flag it publicly — do not engage with the scammer, do not click links they send. - Before trusting any claim about $ASHEM's mechanics (mint authority, freeze authority, supply, treasury), verify it yourself. Every number we publish is checkable on-chain — that is the entire point of the project ("we don't ask for trust — we publish proof").
4. General Terms of Use
- The Site(s) are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to availability, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- $ASHEM, its contributors, and anyone associated with the project are not liable for any loss — financial or otherwise — arising from your use of the Site(s), your interaction with the token, or your reliance on any information published by the project.
- The project reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Site(s), including the dApp and the Discord server, at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
- These terms may be updated. Continued use of the Site(s) after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material updates will be flagged with a new version number and date at the top of this document.
- Discord-specific: use of the official Discord server is also governed by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, in addition to the server rules posted in
#rules.
5. Why this document exists
This document serves two purposes at once, and both are intentional:
- It protects you — by giving you real, specific information about the risks involved and how to avoid the most common ways people lose money to scams in crypto communities.
- It protects the project — by making clear, in writing, that $ASHEM does not offer financial advice, does not promise returns, and has communicated the risks involved.
A disclaimer that's honest about risk is itself consistent with the project's core principle: we don't ask for trust, we publish proof. Hiding or softening the risk to make the project more appealing would contradict that.
Publication status
- Reviewed by outside legal counsel (14 Aug 2026).
- Jurisdiction-specific language: resolved — no jurisdictional restriction is applied or represented, consistent with legal counsel's guidance given the nature of the product. This will be revisited only if applicable regulations change materially, not as a recurring open item.
- Where it lives: Discord (
#terms, pinned) and the dApp (/terms,/risk) — both. - Spanish translation for
#spanish/ Spanish-speaking community members — not yet done, not blocking publication in English (the project's primary language).
